JAKE ELLER
Owner
They say, “Don’t step in concrete, or you’ll get stuck,” and that’s exactly what happened to Jake. After finding himself drawn to concrete work, he grabbed his buddy and a skid loader and founded Lakeside Contractors with the mission of perfecting All Things Concrete. While Lakeside has grown considerably from its two-man operation in 2015, Jake continues to appreciate the creative and strategic challenge of pouring concrete. His motto? Get things done right the first time.
When he isn’t working, Jake enjoys sponsoring and watching motocross, hunting with his wife, and teaching his two boys how to ride dirt bikes.
MASON O'NEILL
Controller
In 2019, Mason hit the ground running as Lakeside’s first office hire and hasn’t stopped since. “I enjoy the fast-paced environment. We all work hard but like to have fun at the end of the day.” With a degree in finance, Mason has a knack for numbers and oversees Lakeside’s accounting, project management, and estimating.
When he isn’t staring at numbers, Mason enjoys watching college sports (go Iowa!) and being on a lake or in the mountains with his wife and daughter.
Levi Thomas
Flatwork Operations Manager
Levi got his start in the industry at just 19 years old, pouring concrete for hog barns. With 20 seasons of concrete under his belt, Levi now leads the charge as Lakeside’s flatwork operations manager. He continues to appreciate the fast-paced nature of the industry and the opportunity to position projects for success as one of the first people on a job site.
Outside of work, Levi farms row crops, raises cattle, and enjoys hunting and fishing with his wife and three kids.
JASON O'BRIEN
Residential Operations Manager
Since working on his first residential foundation job shortly after high school, Jason has spent the past 25 years devoted to perfecting the craft. He loves connecting with others in the community and utilizing his knowledge to help clients build the foundation that will support the home of their dreams. With countless successful projects under his belt, Jason is especially adept at foreseeing potential challenges and developing ideal solutions for his clients.
